Happy Dog, Happy Life

  • Choose a cooler time of the day to walk your dog.  A lot of exercise is good for your dog but this time of the year back off on the intensity of exercise.

  • Watch out for signs of dehydration.  Overheated dog will drool excessively, become lethargic, its eyes will be bloodshot and may appear pale.

  • Keep your dog hydrated – always take water on your walk.

  • Dogs can not sweat, when spraying with water make sure to spray the paws and stomach, not just the top. Dogs cool down from the bottom up.
